Pipa lessons at TCMS are suitable for students interested in Chinese traditional music, rhythm and expressive playing. Students begin with holding posture, right-hand plucking, left-hand fingering and simple repertoire before moving into more advanced techniques.

琵琶是中国传统弹拨乐器，音色清亮、有颗粒感，既能表现细腻抒情，也能表现快速、有力量的乐段。它在独奏、合奏和传统曲目中都非常重要。

The pipa is a traditional Chinese plucked instrument with a clear, articulated sound. It can express delicate lyrical music as well as fast and powerful passages, and it plays an important role in solo, ensemble and traditional repertoire.

在 TCMS，老师会从基础手型、弹挑、轮指、换把和识谱开始，根据学生年龄和基础安排曲目。进阶学生可学习传统经典曲目、考级内容和演出准备。
At TCMS, teachers begin with hand shape, plucking, tremolo, shifting and music reading. Repertoire is chosen based on each student's age and level, and advancing students can work on classic pieces, exam preparation and performance skills.
