Zhongruan lessons at TCMS are suitable for students interested in Chinese traditional instruments, plucked tone and ensemble playing. Students begin with posture, right-hand plucking, left-hand fingering and simple repertoire.

中阮是中国传统弹拨乐器，外形圆润，音色温暖、厚实。它常用于民族乐队、室内乐和独奏，既能演奏旋律，也能承担和声与节奏。

The zhongruan is a traditional Chinese plucked instrument with a round body and a warm, full tone. It is used in Chinese orchestras, chamber music and solo repertoire, and it can play melody, harmony and rhythmic accompaniment.

At TCMS, teachers plan lessons around hand shape, plucking, shifting, rhythm, reading and repertoire. Advancing students can work on solo pieces, ensemble coordination and performance preparation.
